HUNGRY FOR SOMETHING GOOD?
GARDEN OF EATIN’ HITS THE SPOT
The n.u.f.a.n. ensemble - Chicago’s premiere new work festival company - is examining food and eating and their place in our life when “Garden of Eatin’” opens at 8 p.m., Tuesday March 16 at the Prop Theater 3502 North Elston Avenue, Chicago.
While results vary, it is widely accepted that Chicago is one of the fattest cities in the country. Perhaps because we have the best restaurants, the best chefs or we just love a thick slice of deep dish pizza with a side of chicken wings and an Old Style.
“Garden of Eatin’” examines other elements of food culture from obnoxious food channel divas to unwanted guests at an upscale restaurant. Along the way we meet an assortment of cranky waitresses, stressed out moms, and young couples in culinary turmoil.
“Garden of Eatin’” opens at 8 p.m., Tuesday March 16 at the Prop Theater 3502 North Elston Avenue Chicago. It runs through Wednesday, March 17.
There is plenty of free street parking.
Ticket price is $10.00
